Edward Sechkar is a writer and producer who resides in Ohio, USA. Under the pseudonym of Edward Allen Karr, he has written more than twenty novels across multiple series and genres. The stories range from middle-grade coming of age (A World So Close series) to books that are best enjoyed by mature readers (Risk and the Killers series; Thrills N Kills in the Hills series). He publishes all of his works through Lakeside Letters, LLC. Recently, he has ventured into the world of screenwriting and filmmaking, beginning with adapting his own books into films. As an Executive Producer through WordPrism Media, LLC, he partners with established professionals in the filmmaking world and is ever appreciative of the immense talent and experience they all possess. They are the Prisms that turn simple black and white Words into living art that they share with the world.

I was born, raised, and continue to reside in Ohio, USA. After many years of pursuing a variety of careers, ranging from working an automotive assembly line to designing space flight experiments that have been in use on the Space Station, I realized that there is other, more practical work to be done: telling stories.

I recently completed a new middle-grade work, a PG13-ish family sci-fi adventure. Orlando and Abby inherit from her Uncle Proctor a lot of junk, including his journal, which outlines his unusual experiments into depth perception. When Orlando performs the experiments himself, hoping to find the old man’s lost gold, the results are unexpected and alarming for them and their two kids, Andy and Annabeth, and their dog, Barkley von Mayhem.

My finished works comprise twenty-plus novels spanning five series:
–> A World So Close series (7 books) Middle-grade fantasy adventure & coming of age but fun for all ages
–> Fringes of Infinity series (6 books) Women’s Fantasy Fiction — Lin Finity and her unstoppable Mayhem
–> Socrates Lewis Stories series (2 books) Religious/Psychological drama
–> Thrills N Kills in the Hills series (4 books) Racy, comical horror in Beverly Hills — not for kids!
–> Risk and the Killers series (2 books) Sexy and intense urban fantasy in a hellish world with all kinds of freaks and mutants and monsters — even MORE not for kids!
–> The Frat Chat & The Frat Chat 2 (2 books) Sexy, adult drama

So, with the fortitude and focus found in a generous mug of coffee, I’ll continue to confine ideas in strings of words, give voice to characters who have been waiting for someone to tell their stories, and always aspire to transport readers to worlds that they might not have noticed without these books.
